Paper Planes
"Paper Planes” is a one hour long experimental theatre production that presents the complex experiences of asylum seekers through a non-linear narrative structure. Participants are asylum seekers, refugees and volunteers. This play utilizes a mix of flashbacks, dreams, reflective moments, and the presence of those who have been deported to create a rich, multifaceted portrayal of their journeys.
The performance places significant emphasis on non-verbal communication and expression, using physical movement, gestures, and visual elements to convey the emotional depth of the characters’ experiences.
